Die Ausstellung mit dem Titel \u201eLuoghi e sguardi\u201c (Orte und Eindr\u00fccke) wird am Eingang des neuen Sitzes der Epper-Stiftung angek\u00fcndigt und erstreckt sich dann in den drei S\u00e4len, die es erm\u00f6glichen, die einzelnen Etappen eines Rundgangs zu erfassen, die die wesentlichen Merkmale der Werke des K\u00fcnstlers beinhalten. Die Ausstellung beginnt mit dem ber\u00fchmten \u00d6lgem\u00e4lde \u201ePaar am Tisch\u201c aus dem Jahr 1921 und setzt sich mit einer Reihe von internen Einblicken, Portr\u00e4ts und Selbstportr\u00e4ts fort, mit der Welt der sozialen Beziehungen und der \u00e4u\u00dferen Realit\u00e4t, sowohl der menschlichen als auch der landschaftlichen. Sogar die Darstellungen des Sees, Asconas und der D\u00f6rfer in der Umgebung von Locarno werden in einer raffinierten Serie von Aquarellen angedeutet, mit denen der K\u00fcnstler seine tiefe und liebevolle Beziehung zu den Orten, an denen er den gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil seines Lebens verbracht hat, zum Ausdruck bringt.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Die Aquarelle stellen eine der heitersten Perioden im Schaffen von Ignaz Epper dar, eine Art gegenseitiges Geschenk zwischen dem K\u00fcnstler und der Region Locarno und eine Best\u00e4tigung daf\u00fcr, dass der K\u00fcnstler in der Landschaft von Ascona einen Grund fand, sich von seiner pessimistischen Sicht der menschlichen Realit\u00e4t zu l\u00f6sen. Seine rechtzeitige R\u00fcckkehr von seinen Reisen und Auslandsaufenthalten wurde durch die menschliche Dimension und die Landschaft dieser Gegend, die er so sehr liebte, belebt.\u00a0Sogar mit einem Hauch von zarter Poesie, wenn der K\u00fcnstler seinen Blick auf die Natur und die Orte richtet, insbesondere auf Ascona von oben gesehen, als w\u00fcrde er \u00fcber die D\u00e4cher und Glockent\u00fcrme gleiten, als wolle er eine leichte Z\u00e4rtlichkeit vermitteln. So zeigt sich gerade in schwierigen Zeiten wie der heutigen ein nicht immer ausreichend gew\u00fcrdigter intrinsischer Wert im Werk von Ignaz Epper, den Harald Szeemann beispielhaft als \u201eWunsch, der Welt durch die Kunst seiner leidenden Seele mehr Frieden zu bieten\u201c definiert hat.<\/em><\/p>\n
